Because my style is more candid and documentary, the answer to this question is almost always yes. Having two photographers at your event ensures that no special moment is getting missed - whether it's your best friends writing you a note in the corner or the hug you received from your favorite person that you haven't seen in ages. It is all equally important in my eyes and deserves to be captured. Not only does a second photographer provide you with more images and angles, but it also allows me the time to focus solely on you and your fiancé having the time of your life on your special day.
+ Do I need more than one photographer?
My style is more on the candid and documentary side with a touch of editorial sophistication - portraying authentic, intentional, detail-oriented imagery. My color editing style is true-to-life, crisp, and timeless. If your day is colorful, so will be your imagery. If your day is neutral with editorial city vibes, so will be your imagery. If you ever have any specific questions on how to achieve a certain look, please don't hesitate to ask! I am here to help guide you in the right photography direction.
+ What does your pricing look like?
I send an Investment Guide after you inquire that goes over a lot of information, including starting pricing, what that includes and what different wedding days look like. I provide custom proposals for each of my clients after we have a brief introductory call about what you're envisioning for your day. I feel it's important for me to guide you in the right direction, to make sure you are getting the most out of your day with me while not adding in unnecessary things. After our call I will send you your custom proposal, including your minimum needs, some nice to haves as well as all the bells and whistles you may want to add on.
+ how would you describe your style?
Yes! I believe a wedding is a custom collaborative effort from all vendors involved and we are your resources! I work alongside you and your planner to help develop an amazing day-of timeline to make sure we don't feel rushed and to make sure you get the most out of your experience working with me. I like to set up a call at least about 4-6 weeks prior to your day to dive into details, but I also love to meet with you and your team to get to know everyone as much as I can leading up to your wedding day. The better I know you, the more I am able to capture your day so it feels like you.
+ Do you help with the planning process?
Autonomy and trust. It is so important that when choosing your photographer, you study their work, their personalities and their style. If you feel that you resonate with their art and love everything they do, trust them and give them creative control. Artists perform their best work when given the go ahead to do their thing. While it's always good to provide inspiration and have many discussions about what you like and what you don't (and we have a lot of those discussions!) At the end of the day, trust that the professionals you hired are going to knock it out of the park for you. Like most artists, I produce my best work when clients see themselves in my work and give me creative control.
+ what is the best way to work with you?
+ do you travel?
I provide my services all over the globe, but you will mainly find me covering New York State and the New England Area. No wedding or session is too far! Feel free to reach out and we can discuss your destination event.
